Identification - RCD uses an identification number and secured password to identify both the Buyer and Seller. A Sales Lot Number is used to identify all refrigerants or solvents available.

Certification - When it is appropriate or requested, the Seller must provide an ARI 700-93 Certification or Certificate of Origin for each sale lot that is submitted and must include his signed statement that connects the certification to the proper Sales Lot Number. When it is appropriate or requested, RCD will send a "Certified True Copy" or other proof of certification to the Buyer of the sale lot number.

Is There Any Cost Involved? - The Seller is charged three percent of the total product cost of the completed transaction with a minimum transaction fee of $100.00. Our services provide anonymity for both the Buyer and Seller including blind shipment arrangements. In addition, RCD provides secure financial escrow service.

Freight Costs - The Buyer should take the inbound freight cost into consideration when submitting his offer as all Sales Lots are priced "Freight Collect" to the Buyer. To assist the Buyer in computing his freight cost the Seller's general location is shown as part of the Sales Lot information.

How Safe Is The Buyer's Money - Prior to the shipment being released, the Buyer will deposit in the RCD Escrow Account the purchase amount plus any freight charges due from the Buyer. The Buyer's entire remittance is held in the RCD escrow account until the Buyer accepts the product.

Shipping - All prices listed and offered are based on the Buyer paying freight. Shipment will go forward when the Buyer's remittance for the Sales Lot Number purchase amount plus any freight charges has cleared the Buyer's bank and has been credited to the RCD Escrow Account. RCD will notify the Seller to release the shipment, freight prepaid, to a carrier authorized by RCD. The shipment will be processed as a "Third Party Blind Shipment".

When Does The Seller Get Paid - The Buyer has ten days after his receipt of the shipment to accept the Sales Lot. On receipt of the Buyer's signed acceptance of the Sales Lot or on the eleventh day, which ever comes first, RCD will send a check drawn on the RCD Escrow Account to the Seller for the purchase price less the transaction fee due from the Seller.
