Information For Buyers Information For Sellers Sales Lot Maintenance

Information For The Buyer

General Info: You may offer any amount per pound for all or part of any Sales Lot. Please remember that this is a professional site; your offers should be realistic and be reflective of the current market. Keep in mind that the Seller is free to accept more than one Buyer's offer and does not necessarily have to accept the highest price offered. It may be that a combination of the price offered and the total number of pounds the Buyer is willing to purchase represents the best offer to the Seller. As you can readily see, if you offer to purchase every pound available in a Sales Lot you can only lose if your offer is too low. You will be notified by email when the Seller has responded to your offer. When the Seller designates "Bulk" packaging it should be further explained in the comments section. With Bulk packaging, the buyer will probably have to take his repackaging costs into account in arriving at a price. All Sellers have been cautioned to know the purity or condition of their product to prevent any surprises on theirs or the Buyers part. Any errors in the representation of their product can be expensive to them. SELLERS HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SELLING AND TO BE PREPARED TO BACK IT UP. Remember - you are free to make offers on as many Sales Lot Numbers as you want, however you are responsible for the purchase of any Sales Lot Numbers where your offer is accepted by the Seller. Your offers are not entered and finalized until you are on the "Let's Make A Deal" page (the last page) and you click the MAKE YOUR OFFER button. Up to the point of having clicked the MAKE YOUR OFFER button, you may edit any entry by either clearing the form entirely or by entering over the incorrect information. You may completely cancel your actions by using one of the blue Navigation Bars to go to another page. If you have a problem or concern with any entry, please email, fax or call us immediately with your ID Number, the pertinent Sales Lot Number, and the problem or necessary correction.

What Happens After Your Offer Is Accepted: You will be notified by email when your offer has been accepted by the Seller. RCD will send a proxy Purchase Order to you for your signature. This purchase order must be signed and returned to RCD by fax or mail. The Seller is sent a proxy Acceptance of this Purchase Order for his/her signature. RCD will arrange for shipment only on receipt of these signed proxies and the receipt of cleared funds from the Buyer in the RCD escrow account. Remember, by the Terms of Registration Agreement, you contractually agreed to the purchase of any Sales Lot Numbers where your offer is accepted by the Seller.

AutoBid Info: This is a highly recommended option, which allows you to place a starting and ending offer on an item. This is a private entry, know only to you and RCD. Using AutoBid means you do not have to be on-line to raise your offer should another Buyer outbid you. AutoBid only protects the Buyer from being outbid by another Buyer. It is not used to respond to any counteroffers that the Seller might make the Buyer. If another Buyer outbids you, your offer is automatically raised to exceed the other Buyer's offer by $0.01 (one cent). Your AutoBid will only consider other offers having a Pounds Willing to Buy range from 1000 pounds less than yours - up to the same Pounds Willing to Buy that you have entered. If your AutoBid ending offer is reached, you will be sent an email message that you have been outbid. At that point you may adjust your AutoBid ending offer, make a manual offer, or do nothing. The Seller is notified by email to respond to any offer. Remember - no other Buyers or Sellers can see your AutoBid entries.

To Use AutoBid: Make your Initial Offer and Highest Offer entries in the two AutoBid boxes. Manually enter your Pounds Willing to Buy and click MAKE YOUR OFFER. Your Pounds Willing to Buy will remain the same for every offer unless manually changed by you.

To Make A Manual Offer: Skip the AutoBid section leaving it blank. Make your manual entries at Price per Pound Offered and Pounds Willing to Buy and click MAKE YOUR OFFER. If you are outbid by another buyer you will be advised immediately by email. Remember - a manual offer will not protect you from loosing a Sales Lot to another Buyer if you are slow in responding to this email notification

To Respond To An Offer: You will be notified by email when there is activity on your Sales Lot. Sign in on the Home page and click on the Sales Room Navigation Bar at the Welcome Page. This will take you to the Sales Door page where you can select the appropriate Sales Lot Number from the list of your open Sales Lot Numbers. The Sales Display Room page will fill in at that time. Look over your offers, then go to the bottom and click GO TO SELLER'S RESPONSE. This will transfer you to the Let's Make A Deal page. Click YES or NO to accept or decline the Buyer's offer. If you click YES, no other entry is required for that particular offer and RCD will notify the Buyer. To make any counteroffer, you must make an entry in either or both of the Price and Pounds columns. When you are sure of your entries, click ENTER YOUR RESPONSE. If there is more than one offer to respond to, you must click ENTER YOUR RESPONSE before going on to the next offer. Remember - you may not reverse an accepted offer once you have clicked ENTER YOUR RESPONSE. The Buyer will be notified by email to respond to your counteroffer.

What Happens After You Accept an Offer: You will receive a confirmation email from RCD when you have accepted an offer from the Buyer. RCD will send a proxy Purchase Order to the Buyer for his/her signature and you will be sent a proxy Acceptance of Purchase Order for your signature. This proxy Acceptance of Purchase Order must be signed and returned to RCD by fax or mail. RCD will arrange for shipment only on receipt of these signed proxies and the receipt of cleared funds from the Buyer in the RCD escrow account.
